Split ingestion without changing the producer contract
RFC 014 creates two independently recoverable paths while holding the API, warehouse schema, batch path, and retention constant.
Purpose and measurable outcome
One failed queue must leave the other accepting events, rollback must be rehearsed, and the producer API and warehouse schema must not change.
The scope fence
In
Dispatcher, two queues and consumer groups, operator overview, chaos evidence, runbooks, release, and handoff.
Out
Payload, authentication, warehouse schema, batch path, and retention.
Governance
Platform delivers. Reliability approves failure behavior. Checkout, Catalog, and Inventory prove retries. The Platform director approves scope and effort.
